Brokers would like you to think its means that if you do have a
claim you will have trouble getting paid out. But to the contrary it
actually means you will be paid out quicker as you will be dealing
directly with the company that insures you.
The other benefit is obviously lower
premiums. This is due to the fact that you are cutting out the
middleman. Cutting out the middleman means that the percentage of
your premium that goes to paying for the brokers "services" are no
longer required. This is good news for the customer who no longer is
required to deal with brokers who will push a policy that makes them
the most money.
